So the Fender American Original 50s Telecaster has what are described as “two Pure Vintage ‘52 single-coil pickups”. Are these any good?

They have the same part number (0992119000) as the American Original pickup set. If they are in fact the same pickups then I can tell you with experience that they sound great.

    Don’t you own this guitar?

I think the best way to tell if they are any good is to play through them

All of us have different preferences, some pickups get generally good ratings but some pickups others like I don’t

I'm too lazy to mod my guitars ..

    I just buy a new one ....

    That might sound better ...

    I had 27 at one point ...
