Fender Pro II seems to have just hit the stores here.

Prices currently not increased on the original "Professional" series.

Touting new pickups ... V Mod II ... whatever that might mean, no info. as yet at fender.com - so will be interesting to see what's made of them.

Not sure on this but is Miami Blue a new colour? Sadly the Tele doesn't seem to have a Rosewood neck option like the Strat?
Might be a couple of other new colours but, again, not really up to speed on Fender colours!

btw - is the Original series being re-vamped too.
Stores over here have very few, is that just because of manufacturing/export issues under current circumstances or are y'all keeping them for yourselves .

...and NO 72 CuNiFe Thinlines.....

Come on, Fender! We know how this works! First you make a CS model (done), then you introduce a production model! Get busy!

Because the CuNiFe pickup is only being used in the American Original series - so if they add a '70s Thinline with CuNiFe pickups it will be an American Original model. The American Professional/Pro II does not use the CuNiFe pickups; the Deluxe HH in that series has Shawbuckers that are done up cosmetically to look like Wide Range pickups.

You've got to leave something for them to introduce in December/January and make a big splash since there isn't going to be a Winter 2021 NAMM show.:(

EDIT: The American Professional IIs are up on Fender's website now; here's the landing page for the series:

    https://shop.fender.com/en-US/ameri...anner=SHOP_20201013.AMPROII.Carousel.Homepage

Looks like the American Professional Jaguar has bitten the dust with the revision.

I'm not sure if that Miami blue colour is beautiful or just eye-hurty.

They've done that thing again that keeps me from buying their guitars.

On the Jazzmasters, the Miami Blue and Mystic Surf Green are only available with maple fretboards, and the other colors are only with rosewood.

Well, I want surf green with rosewood. I will not be buying two of them so I can make my own model and sell off the remaining parts. So I will be buying none.

I'm not usually a color snob, but those colors are HORRIBLE!
I guess they can be "improved" next year by adding in classic Fender colors?

Who came up with this marketing image? Slathering it on a little thick, I think.

I was considering pulling the trigger on a candy apple red one. Now? Not so much. Sigh.

Never thought about it before, but after watching the new Strat video, thinking of having a pull/push pot put in for the tone to get the Neck-Bridge, and all 3 pickup at once combinations added to the standard 5.

    Anyone else have that?

it wouldn’t be Fender if they didn’t have some barf worthy colors in their new releases.
The only item Fender could tempt me with is an American Pro or a Ultra Thinline in a bound LPB, Texas Tea or Honeyburst finish, preferably with a rosewood board.
    Otherwise I’m all Fendered out.

if you're 20, it's going to look great no matter what.

For the rest of us: it's going to depend on what we're wearing, what's in the background, day or night, the lights, and how many drinks the audience has had.

That's whatsisname. He's actually a famous young musician, but I thought he only sang and didn't play guitar. What, don't you bring a telecaster along on all your horse rides?
