O..k., I don’t think there’s one yet. So, I would hereby like to establish the Fender Performer Series Club.:)

Fender recently discontinued the Special Series and replaced it by the new Performer Series. I got mine a few weeks ago. I got a Sonic Blue SS model with rosewood fretboard. And I like it very much, so far. It feels, sounds, plays and looks great!

Please post your Performer Series related comments here!

Fender American Performer Telecaster Honey Burst.jpg I'm joining this club!

I received my Fender Performer Telecaster Honey Burst yesterday.
Switched to Gotohs In Tune saddles and put on a set of 10s.

    Really like it so far!

I was just playing it tonight, and every time I pick it up, it just amazes me at how expressive the Yosemite pickups are compared to every other Strat that I've ever owned. They sound so good, and it plays so nicely, that I can't play anything else anymore. It's spoiled me for every other guitar that I own. I love it that much.

Welcome to the club!:) That's a beautiful Tele!

That's a great looking Strat! And yeah, my Performer Series is also definitely my favorite Tele, so far!

Not a Tele or a Strat, but one of these.

Great thanks. The colour on the Mustang is called penny, I think it's a new one from Fender. If I remember correctly, this new colour covers all range of Performer series guitars (not sure about basses though). So, there is a Strat, Tele, Jazzmaster and finally a Mustang.
I would have loved to have seen a Jaguar, but I love short scale guitars, and the Mustang is a fantastic little player. The vibrato stays in tune pretty well on these. I just set my action a little bit lower, gave the fretboard a touch of lemon oil, as it seemed a bit dry in a couple of places, added 10 46 strings, and bingo (resists the urge to say "plays like butter"), plays great!

Oh right, that's that new color. Yeah, I saw that on a Tele, in a YT video. Cool color! Enjoy your new Mustang! And you know, here at the FPSC we're allowed to say 'plays like butter'.;)

Today I brought home this vintage white Tele. I’m surprised just how much I like these new pickups. Normally I take out whatever pickups are in a telecaster and install avintage 50’s set.
Not this time I really like the ones in this guitar. Also I love maple fretboards on telecasters so this guitar is so perfect for me.
