I love this thing to death. It's downright rude and has a very nasty attitude!

Also extremely versatile. Certainly not a one trick pony.

It also stays as is - I don't see the need for any changes or upgrades. The Noventa is a keeper.

I tried one and really liked it, but I'd have to trade my kind of unloved but still quite decent 90's American Strat to make it happen, and that's kind of a dumb move value-wise.

I played a couple of these over the weekend. One was strung top-loaded, the other strung through the body. The top-loaded one seemed smoother sounding, while the through body one had more bite. Both had that good old P90 growl.

What's the consensus? Has anyone tried a combination of stringing? I've heard that some people get good results string a Tele with the wound strings through body and the plains top-loaded.

My Noventa tele is amazing.

Its my open G guitar and the volume taper is surprisingly fantastic. It can go from clean to mean in the blink of an eye.

My only criticisms are that it is a bit fizzy with the volume at 10 so it stays around 9. The other is the pickguard. Inwish they would have done a full pickguard a la an Esquire or just left it off entirely.

“60’s” C. I have small-medium sized hands and i find it comfortable

What is doubly frustrating is they way they cut the control plate I can't even buy an Esquire pickguard to put it on instead.

The first one of these I played had a great neck and I was seriously considering buying it but someone got to before I could pull the trigger. I haven't played any with as nice a neck as that first one. The CNC holes are a deal breaker for me.

You mean the particular one had a fat neck or anything? And, what are the CNC holes?

I like them! If I didn't already have a P-90 loaded Telecaster, I think I would pull the trigger. They are lean, mean, simple and to the point.

I really like mine. I don’t like those weird angled saddles, the string spacing moves around with aggressive playing and the unwound strings often end up over the height adjustment screws. I replaced those with Rutters intonated saddles and problem solved. Other than that it was good to go.

I’ll bet they’re what that pickguard covers. I went with a clear pickguard on my MIM Tele, which revealed them, to the right of the neck pickup.
