Hello,

I've replaced the 3-way switch on my Squier CV tele with a 4-way switch. At the same time, I'm replacing the pickups with Fender N4 noiseless ones. This combination worked perfectly on another tele (which has since been sold), but I can't seem to make it work on this Squier.

I've wired everything up, and this is the result:
- position 1: works fine (bridge pickup)
- position 2 & 3: no output at all!
- position 4: only the neck pickup is active, while it should be bridge+neck in series...

The N4 pickups both have 3 wires.
As for the neck, the 'hot' and 'coil black' wires are connected to the switch, while the 'neck cover' wire is grounded.
For the bridge, the 'hot' is connected to the switch, while both other wires are grounded.

As far as I can recall, this is the same wiring as I had on that other tele, but I must be overlooking something. I've included the diagrams that I followed (Fender / Fralin).

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
Bart
