Thought I would start this one, as there are a few members who own these cracking little plug ins. Here is mine.

Didn't think those were shipping yet, but I plan to order one. How do you like yours?

I have some more time tomorrow to try it a little more, but so far I'm really having fun with it. My battery ran out after 2 hours, but it will normally play for I think 4 hrs. I didn't charge from out of the box, so there was slightly less charge on there, but I just wanted to play into it and trial it.

Got mine yesterday as well - must say very impressive bit of kit -use mine with a pair of sure 215 earphones and they are ideal - can pop one out if needed - used it streaming a video lesson using the Bluetooth - worked perfectly - 5 star rating so far !

Received mine today, played 15 minutes, and I'm still in honeymoon phase.

It sounds good, probably not as good than the other recent guitar modelers I have because there is less room to fine tune the "perfect tone".
However, I love it just because of that - I can focus on just playing instead of loosing so much time on all the details (main reason why I choose this instead of the nux one).
With the amps for instance I just have to press "+" until I find the one with enough gain for the song and then use the guitar volume to fine tune.
Big plus, the wife does not find it offensive (small form factor) and the kids are not be bothered by my shredding :)

    Dang

    That looks sweet

I guess it’s like the boss headphones except you choose your own speakers/phones?

    Woe! 100 dollars, that’s worth a try

Just got mine and agree it is amazingly awesome. This thing blows my old vox amplug away. The stereo effects are really really nice. Love it!

I guess this counts as a patch:

Pico Pignose: Blue (VOX AC30) / Blue (Darker EQ) / White (Large Hall) / Purple (Effects Bypass). Plug the headphone out into a decent Bluetooth speaker.

Oh hot dog. Interesting that they got two of the things I complained about here but never got a chance to send in. I'll try it out first thing tomorrow.

Ok just updated. Was very easy to do

It seems to me, you get a little more reverb in the Spring and Halls settings.

I still wish the Hall setting had a little more room at the highest setting (like the hall setting on the new 68 custom Vibro Champ, or the modulated one without the "modulation"). The Spring seems a little more "springy", especially at the higher settings.

    Don't use the BB-15, FBE-100 , so can't comment on that.

    What is anyone else hearing?

I didn't notice much of a difference in the reverbs, but the 2290 sounds a little nicer. Neither of the amps is on my favorites list in real life or on the MM, so I won't pass judgment on those.

I had noticed that it was a little quieter than the other amps; it seems more in line with the others post-update.

Much better on both fronts. No more ear-splitting headphone levels while trying to record.

Overall, I'd say this update is an improvement, and I commend Fender for getting it out so soon after the product hit the streets. The updater app is nice, too.

Since no good deed goes unpunished, I still have a couple of outstanding things in case Fender should be reading this:

First: The audio from the amp models still runs thin (short on bass) at lower volumes. It isn't my headphones or even the audio hardware in the MM because what I pipe through via Bluetooth sounds great. This is an issue because the 'phones I want to use with my MM (1More Triple Drivers, 32Ω) don't require a lot of volume to reach a comfortable listening level. My Sennheiser HD599s (50Ω) exhibit this a little less and my HD-520-IIs (300Ω) don't do badly at all, but those require higher dial positions for the same level. Setting the EQ to dark or darker seems to chop out the highs but doesn't do anything to bring back the lows.

Second: This thing would be truly complete if it had an acoustic simulator. I'd be more than happy to sacrifice the Bogner model for it. Maybe an alternate firmware load with it would be a good compromise?

Once you download the file, what how do you open the file please? I've been trying all day with zero results. :(

you have to connect the micro to your computer, then download the file

I think the Micro has to be plugged in to the computer for the file to open. After that, a window pops up and it should work fine.

In my case I plug the headphone out into a Fly 3 input ... and can carry it anywhere. It sounds surprisingly good and a real fun thing to do.
