I've noticed that the neck relief on my Made in Japan Hybrid II Telecaster is particularly sensitive to changes in humidity. Even a relatively small shift, like going from 44% to 66% humidity, results in a noticeable change in the neck relief. This is quite different from my other guitars, including my MIA Vintage II 63 Telecaster, my Les Paul, and my acoustic guitars, which don't seem to be affected by these fluctuations to this extent.

I have a relatively new squier that is the same . It’s at my girlfriend’s apt. That has no air cond. and it goes from fully engaged truss rod in summer to completely loose in winter. Some kind of Chinese magic wood. I have guitars that I have never move the rod. ( hvac) housed. I have wondered if the rods could be frozen from never being moved. Joke. The moving rod changes the guitar me no likey.but I’m 4 thumbs and a finger so it’s just a hassle . And if I wasn’t so lazy I could keep it in a good case with the dad humidity pack.
