One heck of a mouthful, but has anyone got any experience of the Fender FSR Limited Edition Exotic Collection American Elite Mahogany Telecaster Thinline? Looks beautiful and the specs look great. Although they're available online I can't find one locally to try, so I stole an image from Reverb!

I’ve only seen them on Reverb too — very nice looking guitar and a great spec. I’ve got an Elite (solidbody) so I know the neck is very comfortable and the N4 bridge pickup sounds good. What difference being a semi hollow mahogany body vs solid alder makes — who can say?? I’d be interested because (a) it looks good (b) the splittable neck humbucker is a nice touch, and a better use for the S1 than the series option I have now and (c) it’s different enough from my current Elite to own both without feeling guilty.

It looks a really interesting model and the demos on YouTube make it sound great, but it's always nice to hear a real world opinion. I've been thinking a lot recently about what makes a guitar playable to me. My 2 favourite guitars both have a 12" neck radius, whilst my 9.25" guitars get sidelined, so I think a compound radius would suit me nicely.

It certainly looks good - really long winded name though!

Killer looking guitar and hard to find. I’ve seen a few on Reverb from time to time but folks want a premium price for them. If it had a rosewood board it might be hard to resist

    That bridge always interested me.

Fender didn't use it much on their higher end models
and now it's not around anymore
