I just fished watching the most recent rig rundown Premier Guitar did with Brent Mason. He was at a live gig. He was using 2 amps. 1 was a 65 Twin Reverb and the other was an early 70s Blue face Super Reverb. Said he was using the Twin as a backup. I think he said he had the SR modded by a guy. He wanted more out of it I guess. On my planet (talking original tube ones)
the Deluxe Reverb by a long-shot ( I owned a '68 DR from 1996-2016, and had to sell)
Note: mainly because of the size/weight difference, and the size gigs I've always played- so NOT the tone or power argument
My Deluxe Reverb...
( well maintained by good amp tech had a 120 watt speaker, JJ power tubes- set up to be loud and clean)
...was used either very Clean ( no OD pedals) in a Classic Country band,
as well as with OD pedals ( always ON, or mostly) in my own R&R/Blues band.
Perfect amp, but needed $$ and had to sell
So not saying my Deluxe Reverb was better than a Twin Reverb, it was 'just right' for me- more than enough power
Define "better".Which is the better amp for the money??

Yea, until you get older and that aircraft carrier is too heavy to safely carry up the steps to a stage by yourself!!!Something marvellous about a Twin Reverb. Bit like owning your own aircraft carrier
