On my planet (talking original tube ones)
the Deluxe Reverb by a long-shot ( I owned a '68 DR from 1996-2016, and had to sell)
Note: mainly because of the size/weight difference, and the size gigs I've always played- so NOT the tone or power argument

My Deluxe Reverb...

( well maintained by good amp tech had a 120 watt speaker, JJ power tubes- set up to be loud and clean)
...was used either very Clean ( no OD pedals) in a Classic Country band,
as well as with OD pedals ( always ON, or mostly) in my own R&R/Blues band.
Perfect amp, but needed $$ and had to sell

So not saying my Deluxe Reverb was better than a Twin Reverb, it was 'just right' for me- more than enough power

I just fished watching the most recent rig rundown Premier Guitar did with Brent Mason. He was at a live gig. He was using 2 amps. 1 was a 65 Twin Reverb and the other was an early 70s Blue face Super Reverb. Said he was using the Twin as a backup. I think he said he had the SR modded by a guy. He wanted more out of it I guess.

Which is the better amp for the money??
Define "better".

You can play 90% of the common man's gigs with a Deluxe Reverb, but pay maybe 4-5 times for it as a Twin Reverb.
Almost always, money aside, the Deluxe is better in my book.

"For the money" is an interesting way to put it. A vintage twin can be had for much less than a vintage DR. If value is strictly in money spent, the twin wins. If value is instead what you had to spend for what you actually need, the DR (to me) wins by a long shot.

I do like twin reverbs, but am not about to drag one around, and have little use for such a powerful, loud amp.

If you have a live venue or a studio that can be a "forever home" for the Twin, it's the winner. If you're planning to gig with it, the Twin is wildly impractical and not even worth considering unless you have roadies. (If you're an avid bodybuilder/weightlifter, YMMV.)

Apples and Oranges, it's hard to beat the big full clean sound of a Twin, need dirt? Use pedals.
Deluxe Reverb is smaller lighter sounds good too but different, and as mentioned if you are talking about BF and SF modey, a Deluxe will cost more.
One is not "better" they were made for different applications, so it comes down to what you want and need.

The opinions here are all over the place, based on our individual gig/at home play/recording situation, and what we prefer - nothing wrong with that

But the OP (just like in his ' MusicMan Amps' thread), needs to play some amps

The first "big" amp I got was a '66 deluxe reverb. What a great amp used it for years till I started building my own amps. It was amazing how well it could hold its own against bigger amps.
It was also pretty portable in my younger days🤣
DR gets my vote 😎
