Hello all! I have a fender deluxe hot rod. I recently replaced one of the inputs that was busted. It was causing major noise problems, I think because of the grounding.

I've noticed that when I switch channels back and forth there is a loud pop. It happens with foot switch and on the button. This also happens when i toggle between pickups on the guitar. I've tried different cables, same problem. Even on low or high volumes there is a pop. Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

I think you need to go back and check your input jack installation if it all started happening after that.
The ground connection/solder joint could be bad. Platefire
