Cool video about the Custom Shop and a new set of Custom Shop guitar designs.

    Very nice. Thanks for posting.

I am fortunate enough to have a few Custom Shop Fenders and I love them. Obviously, my "team built" Custom Shops don't have the same level of individual craftsmanship as those originals but they are fine guitars.
It was a smart business decision to create a Custom Shop product line and, while some my disparage it as marketing, I am glad Schultz had the vision to create it.

Fender has been making some great guitars at all price points over the last few years. I love my custom shop Fenders.

I've been going back and forth over what my next guitar will be and I've all but decided on a Custom Shop order. I'm thinking about a mahogany body Tele with P90s, maybe a set neck....maybe not. One of the other things I love about the Fender Custom shop is that the possibilities are almost endless and the quality is top notch.

I think I'm done although I sometimes get the itch. I agree about the quality and possibilities.
If it was a Tele would be torn between a white blonde with either a maple or rosewood board; a LBP double bound with rosewood board. I may also want either of those to have a humbucker in the neck position.
If it was a Strat it would be a closet classic (no finish checking) Olympic white with rosewood board.
I know none of the above sounds exciting but I like them.
