Fender cs tele weight?

I think 7lbs is right around the perfect weight for CS tele. I have a couple that are just under 7, and more than few that are well over 7.

Yeah! I decided to return it. It was amazing and sounded really good. But was on the heavy side for me. Now Im gonna look for one in the 7 lbs range for sure.

i actually bought a 2015 journeyman nocaster today. It weights 6.6 lbs. 3 kg.

And i can tell its way more resonant, its to my ears alot better sounding. So maybe weight does matter?

I think it depends on if it's alder or ash. I've heard people say that lightweight ash is a sweet tonewood, but lightweight alder is not so great.

That might be true! i got one cs tele now. That weights about 2.9 kg. And to me it sounds alot better than the heavy ones i tried. But Thats just my opinion.
