After falling in love with a Fender Masterbuilt 52 Tele by Dale Wilson *(I ultimately decided I could not endure the financial fall out) ...I stumbled upon this 51 CS Nocaster heavy relic that is blowing my mind. Dare I say, it may be better for me than that Masterbuilt '52.

I think I'm gonna do it! What do you think? I made the demo through my Fender Knotty Pine Princeton Reverb Reissue w/12" Jupiter 12LC speaker

Great sounding guitar- I have one myself. Big very comfortable neck, very light weight, fantastic pickups.
    My best telecaster
    You won’t be disappointed

Thanks Timo. I LOVE this guitar. This particular Nocaster is a bit hotter than some others I've played but has the twang and classic vintage Spanky sound I associate with a great 50's Tele.

For what its worth, I compared a Carr Rambler with my Fender Knotty Pine Ltd Edition '65 Princeton Reverb *W/Jupiter 12LC ceramic 50W Speaker) ....used the Nocaster.

I think I had the Rambler louder, so in places where it may sound a lot better, it was louder. Both amps are great and let the voice of the Nocaster shine brightly!

Here's a new demo I made. The dogs started barking outside my door at the end, so the recording was not elegant when I got out of the solo and back into rhythm. But the tone of the guitar is so fun!

What's the question you get something that sings through your equipment like that and it should be a no brainer - BUY HER!

No Brainer is right. I agree.

I have wanted "This sound" for years and years. Thank you for the nice compliment. I love and have to have it indeed!

I just picked up a new Nocaster. It's new so I'm biased. But I think it and the JB tele I picked up will be the best rhythm guitars I own. I really like the feel of what's essentially a hard tail and the sound is just so raw it's addicting. Mine just wants to be played hard. I was enjoying some low output HB guitars, but the tele bridge has corrected that course. I'd buy a CS nocaster without hesitation.

My dad would say 'if you want it, get it'

    This is why we work?

PS: I always ignore my dad, if that helps balance what I said here?

I agree with every part of this. I don't normally like heavy relics, but...

Yeah I would never have let my guitars get that beat up. Cant imagine this level of wear occuring on a well cared for guitar. But this one has attitude and a classic/vintage sound that is so credible. If my eyes were closed and you told me it was a genuine '51 Nocaster, I'd have no reason to doubt it. It sounds 'period correct' and it resonates like a guitar that has opened up nicely over 60+ years.
