I have both, got the C20 new a few years ago $99 free shipping, got the Mustang today for $30.

I like the foot switching on the Mustang. Both have their merits.

    What say you?

I got a C20 for my son to learn on and it’s now mine (he favors bass and drums). I love it for just messing around. I had a Mustang III before the new ones came out and it was great, but I ended up selling it. I love the easy interface of the C20 in contrast to the Helix I use live.

Oh hell, I kept the Mustang.

The C20 went to a good home, I know this because I charged a re-homing fee.

Both are great amps for the cost. There really was no wrong move.

Update- The girl who got the C20 said she "wanted to try the Mustang". I switched with her.

I put my top 10 guitars through the paces, and she can keep the Mustang. The C20 is waaaay more "dynamic" in that ALL of the guitars sound different, the Mustang seemed to generi-size them. The Mustang seemed to be louder as well. (don't care)

Also, the dark circuit in the Jazzmaster sounds like booboo through most of the Fender setting (C20)....except the Tweed Champ- ho lee ****! Something about that brightens the dark circuit up.

She liked the 'stang because it has a tuner built in, lol.
