Hello, I wanted to reach out and just see if anyone could offer some advice. I have a fender blues deluxe re issue. After about an hour of playing it starts breaking up terrible when I hit low notes. I have to turn the bass all the way down to one to get it to quit. I just re tubed it and replaced the speaker with an eminence swamp thing about 9 months ago. Any advice on what to check? I really appreciate it.

Did you just replace the tubes, not check bias?

How old is the amp? Does it hum or buzz as well when the power drops?

Try looking at the power tubes when it happens. Does one look like the tube on the left?

Try putting your old power tubes back, see if the problem goes away.
