I guess they thought if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing... I can see how much fun it is to actually build that - but not that much to be seen playin this one

Egad. I know "to each their own" and all that, but it makes me glad to have my bone stock black MIM. I have to be honest, I've never seen anything by this luthier that has turned me on. Again, I'm sure somebody thinks this is the pinnacle of guit-art. The man clearly has skills. But, taste???

The $50K isn't for the mechanics of that thing,,,,
It's to pay for the purtyness of it........Thanks but no thanks.
Not even for $400 ..And if I had $50K laying around,,I'd go
buy a new Buick ,,,put my MIM STD in it,,and go to see all my cousins
in Gettlinburg,Tenn:lol::p

However, if you needed a Tele to play at a renaissance fair, this would be great.
