I see a couple no-name sites offering it for pre-order.

But the big sellers? Nothing mentioned.

Also, Fender says it has AV 64 pickups, and the listing above says Abby wound 68s (didn't she retire a long time ago?)

If it's legit, I'm thinking the limited nature will only be determined after they see how many pre-orders they get. Otherwise they'll be taking more than they can deliver, and pissing folks off.

If that listing above is legit.

Also, according to Fender, it's a poly finish. Why not lacquer for something this nice?

Wilcutt Guitars is showing one in stock, with serial number. I can add it to the cart, and check out. Nothing about pre-order.

While I'd love to have it, I'm going to pass.

Just a note - this is a second run of 1000 guitars. I had one of the original chambered run... <3 years ago?> and it was a very nice guitar. I liked the PV 64 pickups in the rosewood body.

I thought about that, but finding EIR dimensional lumber of the size required is difficult. Unless of course I want to make a 4 pc body.

I know. I asked my luthier about it as well. He said just buy the Fender. Lololololol

Ive held the previous CS version and it’s really nice. I’m sucker for rosewood however was unsure about the whole guitar being rosewood and that CS version changed my mind. Hahha.

Also, being a semi/full hollow body fan, I’m more interested in a thinline model than a solid one. I can see myself selling my 330 and probably most of my gear again if Fender makes something like that. Hahah

I’ve seen a couple places with them

With prices ranging from 2800 to 4000!

I’d like to have one if I could swing it but I don’t think it’s gonna work out this time
