I’ve asked this question many times but why has Fender excluded “power scaling” on so many models or new design? I could be wrong but I think only the Tone Master models and one of the early Bassbreaker model have included it.
I was mildly interested in getting a SS amp so I thought I’d compare the Katana 50 with Fennder’s Champion 50XL. I had to immediately exclude the Fender because, unlike the Boss, it doesn’t have a power scaling option.
I simply don’t understand this. Are the marketers, designers and engineers unaware this is becoming a desired feature set?
We don’t need a DRRI, PRRI, etc in a new FSR purple tweed covering or basket weave grill.
    I’ll stop my rant now!
