I guess, the pickup change kind of devalues it in this case. $1100 USD is about normal for a US tele with a devaluing issue, in this case modification to accommodate active pickups.

It shows sold, did you get it?

I paid $1100 for my 2011 version 8 years ago which looks exactly the same and has the N3 pickups (follow on to the Samarians) with the S1 switching system. So it seems a bit high. Mine was in mint shape with all the hang tags as well.

I picked this one up recently for... well I won't tell you exactly how much, but it was below a grand.
    Here is the before picture:

And here it is now with a few changes I made (fender BWB pickguard, American Professional bridge, Fender staggered height locking tuners):

It came with the American Vintage pickups which are still in there. Great guitar and plays like butta'.

Ok, but is that as bad if someone "upgrade" a guitar e.g. to get a better sound? I'm not a "trader" nor a "specialist", but I guess the active EMG pickups with the Fishman AST Piezo -bridge is not a cheap thing. Why should a guitar lose the value after such upgrade? Ok, I can sell the EMG's electronic and put original pickups there, but it's worth hassles and would the guitar be more valueable with the original stuff?
