Fender 5e3 build keeps blowing fuses and light doesn't come on

Agree with Corliss...a bad power tube could cause damage to the OT but since you just rewired the amp, the issue is likely a wiring error or something shorting out to the chassis. Powering up on a light bulb limiter for the first time will prevent expensive damage from occurring. You can also use a LBL for troubleshooting to find your mistake.

Im sorry I think i interchangeably used Output Transformer and Power Transformer... To clarify, the PT started smoking and burned out. The OT is fine as far as I know... Sorry for the confusion
