Pages 6 and 7 of the new catalog. Grab a few copies for yourself.

I don't think there are any relics here. Looks to be the prototype on the left, and a two pick up Esquire in black.

If that is, in fact, the prototype on the left, I am so, so glad somebody chose to redesign the headstock. Imagine if they didn't.

Leo used the headstock design from the lap steels he was making then. After a while, he came up with the one we all know and love today.

There is nothing like a black Esquire with a white pickguard. Quite possibly the single most dignified guitar on Earth.

I posted the same photo two weeks ago and got 5 replies. You post the same picture with the word porn and the levee breaks. Learned my lesson. They are all Custom Shop relics except for the Snakehead prototype.

Your Photo-Chop came out better than mine though.

There are so many members here, there is sometimes too much to go through. I have a few posts that sank myself.

Notice the two on the left have no truss rod plug... no truss rod.

    Nice.

    Wow.

I thought I was the only person around here that felt that way.
Maybe it's because of a love of old, classic cars being fully restored. I could never understand the, "I love a beat up looking guitar...it's got soul" mentality.

I would never say that about a classic car.
