A Blue Jay will lose a fight with a Red Bellied Woodpecker at a bird feeder.
Blue Jays work in pairs, attack using tactics and will still dominate that feeder sunrise to sunset.
Pileated Woodpeckers don't care. They land, say "leave" and everyone does.
