Never owned a fedora. My dad always wore them, but then he was prone to skin cancer.

Unless you're an old blues guy, just don't. As a TDPRI member in good standing you're almost certainly not a D-bag, so you probably don't want to associate yourself with them.

...but if you do, for the love of all things holy take it off when you enter a building. There are rules to these things.

Oh, do NOT get me started! I have a soft brown one I got at Orvis, a gray narrow-brim Stetson (that I call my Tom Landry hat), a black Tomasz & Williamson hard-brim... I love a fedora.

I like them but don’t have one yet. I’ve been contemplating a Panama/Ecuador hat in a fedora or patron. I need a summer hat because I am susceptible to sun and heat

Sorry, but nothing screams "Past it Blues Daddy" like a Fedora. I'll sometimes wear a ball cap from my Boy Scout days with my grandson when out mowing, but other than that, I don't care for hats.

I love them! I wear a wide brim hat everyday to protect my face from the sun, as I've had some stuff removed. I never wear my had inside & absolutely not at the dinner table, per my mother's rules.
