I don't really like funk music, because my brain can't compute the rhythm. I get the up / down / up / down thingie, but always failed to put the accents in the right places.

A friend of mine sent me this, and the music is awesome, for some reason I really like their sound, and it's something that i can almost play. With a bit of practicing, i'll probably get there.
Notice the guitar stands ? no straps. I don't know why though.

I like it! Sure looks like a lot of work.....and I don't think my stiff neck could hold up very long. ;)

These folks are part of one of my personal favorites to see live - Vulfpeck. TONS of energy and a pretty quirky/humorous show too. I've seen Cory Wong (the dude with the blue strat) live and he tears it up. It was at a festival and there were a lot of guest artists who joined him on stage. He made lots of music theory references in his set and incorporated them in a very funny way that really made the show for me. Not to mention the music was great! Very talented dudes

The guy on baritone is Mark Lettieri. Monster player who is a member of Snarky Puppy.

My back aches just watching them with those stands!

    Awesome music though.

This cut was my intro to Vulfpeck and Snarky Puppy.
The JOY simply cannot be suppressed.
    Thanks for telling others.

Another video of them, with Chris Thile on a cool little Mando-Tele.

I love it right after the 2:00 mark when the drummer drops a stick and ain't even the least bit fazed by it.

I didn't even NOTICE the guitar stands first time around.....don't know if I could even do that. I have to move when I play.....kinda like the Sundance Kid. ;)

Very nice - I've heard these guys before in various mixtures and they are all cool, super-tight playing combos. This one is great fun and very infectious!
