For some reason Ive been wanting a modern, fast playing super strat with a lot of tonal options. Thing is, I actually dont like strat body shapes and teles are my jam. Tele deluxe with 2 humbuckers and controls like an lp to be exact. I se a number of manufacturers are making modern tele shaped guitars. I’ve been looking at Ibanez’s AZS Series.

The Limited Edition FMT HH. Incredible guitar. It's a through neck Telecaster with practically a built in Les Paul. 2 guitars for the price of one! Dual humbuckers and many tonal options. There's a few other similar Fender special editions that have been released over the years. I played 2014-ish (I think) Korean made one that was light and fast.

If you want to time travel, Washburn, Carvin, and some others made super Teles in the 80's. You mentioned Ibanez who are a quality company. I believe a T body has been developed and should be released in the near future.

Check out Chapman Guitars for exactly what you're looking for. They are pretty nice, neck-through, the earlier ones made in Korea are better than the current production, I think.

Here's one I built about 15 years ago. Swamp ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The only pickups like 'em in the universe. The tone knob pulls out to activate the bridge pickup, providing seven sounds instead of the usual Strat five. The two additional sounds are bridge + neck, and all three on. Bone nut. Steel two-post bridge with pop-in talent lever.

Just my paltry $0.002, but 70's Customs and Deluxes are IMHO where it's at. They're the hotrods of the family, and do play fast if you set them up right and understand what they're about. But yeah, they're more like classic rock / r'n'r / indie than modern shred, so probably not what the OP meant.

Check out the Fender Tele Boxer Series. Made in Japan, 2 hot humbuckers, and 12” radius rosewood fret board with jumbo frets. Killer guitar, and only $1200 new.

The Kiesels. Company is older than Fender and has never sold away from the founding family.
In particular these
Retro Solo a true modern twist of a real Tele with insane build quality

And this one The Johhny Hiland sig and a true Super Tele that is a real killer.

behind that would be the Peavey Generation Standard S1 these were amazing super high end hand built US guitars. Unique in many ways with super high end hardware and woods. Not many of these guitars around so most have no clue how good they really are.
I owned a red one for a while and regret selling it. Guitar was almost 10 LBS so was hard on my back on a really long set . However was an absolute monster player!
One of my few recordings with my old S1 through my little Zinky Blue Velvet combo.

There was also the 93-94 Washburn USA Larados built in Chicago while Grover Jackson was running the Washburn Custom Shop. I own several of these Washburn USA guitars from that era and they are spectacular.
These are some of my Washbun MG's all from 1995 and are shockingly good guitars with really high end materials and steller workmanship. Again these are exceedingly rare guitars so most will never see one or have absolutely any clue just how good they were as instruments.

There are also the Suhr T guitars, the Alt T Pro for example, great player with a 2 humbucker setup, lightweight, modern radius, etc
