Guess You havent heard , but we Poles have own Stouts similar to Irish ones. The one you see in the photo Called Sekrety Króla (Kings Secret) Milk Stout by Olbracht Brewery is Milk like stout, dark beer. It has vanilla flavour, it feels light and i cannot find better beer. I dont like light coloured beers, much more into..darker side.

I like mostly amber lagers and ales. A good Pilsner is great in the hotter months. The "staple" in my house is New Belgium "Fat Tire", which is a Belgian style amber ale and brewed in Colorado, USA.

Another stout! The Back Hand of God, from Crannog Ales. They are an "organic farmhouse microbrewery". Basically a bunch of hippies on a farm, making beer. They grow the hops and barley -- if they don't grow it, it doesn't go into their beer.

It usually isn't bottled. Either you find it on tap or you go to the farm and buy a pig:

Taste? Coffee and chocolate. A touch of sweetness. Like a good stout, the hops stay in the background.

And also brewed in NC since 2016. Odds are the Fat Tire you're buying in NC was brewed in NC, fwiw. (My first brewery job was at the original New Belgium facility in Colorado many years ago). And you're right about it being a Belgian-style amber ale (and not just because it says so on the six pack). It is modeled after Palm Speciale.

Their are 2 pine trees on our lot and our cats occasionally miss the litter box so, I’m all set on the over-hopped/stunt hopped IPA’s ....

I used to travel to Wisconsin fairly often for work, and always liked this beer. Unfortunately it’s not available outside of Wisconsin.

On the lighter side, but darn good. No bottles or cans, always drink in a glass. Could go for one right now.
