She's so talented, and so down-to-earth. And she wields that '52 Goldtop harder than anyone else.

I've seen her play in a few different bands and have always been impressed. We have a bunch of mutual friends, but haven't met her in person yet.

Lari Basillio found her by accident looking for demos of a particular Duncan pickup. Great player versatile and unique. Also doesn't over sexualize like most female guitarist to get attention but stands as a player alone.

Mary lived here in Bakersfield. She had regular weekend gigs at the Rodeway Inn. She once said that Merle Haggard's band showed up one night to watch her. She was nervous playing for Roy Nichols. I hired her one night for my parent's party.
I sat enthralled the entire night.

This tune is pretty catchy.

I saw Fish at High Sierra Music Festival. After a song or two I left. She plays here in Bakersfield every few years. I don't go.

I totally agree. I think she's one of the greats of all time. An original, singular and thoroughly interesting. I don't know why she doesn't get more attention. Mos def a guitar god of the highest echelon, IMHO.

Same here. We've talked a bit, either online or on the phone. One time I happened to be in Atlanta and rang her up, but so was Kenny Howes. She ditched me to hang out with Kenny.

I don't blame her, but I also don't let her forget it
