My mom used to make a broccoli casserole-type thing that we all called "the green ****". The green **** ROCKED!

Wife made a Lemon Meringue Pie with fresh lemons from our tree. That will be my favorite this year.

My daughter made a kale side (couldn't find any collard greens) that included turkey bacon, sauteed onions and garlic, chicken stock and butter; simmered for an hour so, and wow I never knew kale could be that good (or any good for that matter :D) I was a bit of an outlier for our typical Thanksgiving line-up, and a big hit.

Copes corn pudding. Mmmm! It’s getting harder to find. The big grocery stores don’t carry it around here. We found it at our local mom & pops, and they didn’t even know they had it in stock.
