I'm not even sure what it means, it's a millennial thing isn't it?
No, anybody can play. Just say someone is being politically correct.
nah, that's not me.... not at all.
I feel the same about those dice knobs on Setzer's guitar. It's it's cool for him, but not for anyone else. I'd feel like a right dick with them on my guitar.
I like the little round ones that were on my AV 52. The chintzy things they put on my AVRI 72 Tele Custom at Fender, should only be exceeded in their embarrassment in having put such a crappy pickup in the neck position. I can see them using cheap crap on an entry level guitar, but Fender says, buddy you're gettin' gravy on your taters, 'cause everybody gets gravy on their taters at Fender.
Aren't the ones on the left import/Squier types?
The Pure Vintage style is like the right one :
I've only seen the cup/box type on Asian imports..
I personally like the “button” style string tree so I replaced the “telephone pole” one on my Am. Std. Tele with one:
Three String Tree from Music City Bridge.
I like the Butterfly.
Have yet to try the rollers.
