For me, solos are easier to play at slow to mid tempo speeds. I want to learn to play solos over faster songs. What are some of your favorites?

Unfortunately it’s Dragonforce. But anything by Eddie Van Halen turns me on. Unfortunately I can’t play anywhere near his speed either. :(

I cant think of any favourites but this was a interesting comparison. I love fast lead but only in small tasteful doses and it's got to be clean for me to enjoy it.
Early van halen is the fast stuff I like most that I cant play without a lot of practice.

I have many favs but for pure speed this tops them all i think, but let it warm up a bit it starts fairly slowly.

Chet Atkins does a really good solo on “Jerry’s Breakdown”. It’s on the Jerry/Chet record ‘Me and Chet’

None of the licks in the solo are very complex, tho playing them at speed cleanly can a bit of a task...
