Yes, WPIX. We got that in Vermont when I was a kid. It was Odd Couple at 11 and Honeymooners at 11:30, or maybe the other way around! I also loved the Abbott and Costello movies they played on Sundays.

Life in Pieces is a newer show and it's brilliant.

    Lately:
Mom . (I find this to be a brave show that often goes places sitcoms don't usually go.)
    Moone Boy
    Kim's Convenience
    Schitts Creek

    Last few years :
    Coupling
    Kath & Kim
    The Office (UK version)

    In no particular order:
    The Office
    Malcolm in the Middle
    Seinfeld
    All in the Family
    Bernie Mac
    Frasier
    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
    Freaks & Geeks
    The Wonder Years
    My Name Is Earl
    That 70s Show
    Leave It To Beaver

For most of these series, the occasional good episode buoyed a general decline after their third year or so peak. Seinfeld, though, got markedly better after its formative first year.

On syndication about the only ones that I would stop for to spend a half hour is Barney Miller and married with Children.

Among the shows in production now I usually catch up with The Mayor and Black-ish sometime during the week.

All my favorite television comedies died many years ago and ended around the time Friends ended production.
I just don't enjoy what passes for "sitcoms" anymore, and I miss the good old days when sitcoms only purpose was to make you laugh.

Archie Bunker didn't age well imo...too much vitriol and ignorance.

Good point. Too many lesbian writers these days. Too many jokes about pee-pee's a woohoo's.

Richard Richard (Rik Mayall) in 'Bottom' - my favourite sitcom: ''It's not your fault you're a lesbian... come back to my place and I'll cure you''.
