I never understood why he wa a great singer he just kinda talks thru songs.
But the Quincy Jones association makes him alright I guess.
    Killer arrangements.
I was adding "thats life" to the setlist.

it's a tossup for me between summer wind & witchcraft

Edit: and one for my baby is so intimate sounding it almost makes me cry when i hear it.
too many good ones to pick a favorite i guess

Hmmm... I’m not sure which Francis Albert Sinatra you’ve been listening to... I sure don’t talk like that...
I nominate In The Wee Small Hours, if I have to pick:

He sounds a tad flat, luckily that was the keys Quincy was working with Bb and such.

All of the above. I do not think I could pick one. Maybe I could, but it would be a different one each time asked depending on how I am feeling at the time.

I lived about 1-1/2 miles from his Ft Lee, NJ until I was 19 or so. FWIW, My Mom used to say she hoped he would pop in when we were in one of the hot dog joints a few blocks from the house in Ft Lee. I forget if it was Hiram's or Callahan's, right next to each other that was his fav, or if they hit up both, we did.

Absolutely one of his best and at a time when his voice was seasoned like a pre-war Martin.
