Title says it all. Someday I will get my wife a Vintage Vibe electric piano. Electric pianos are my favorite keyboard sounds ever. They work in almost every genre, and, in the right hands, are as expressive as any guitar.

To get us rolling, here is what sounds to be an A200 Wurly:

My older sister bought this 45 and at the time it just mesmerized me.

Great keyboard solo and great atmosphere.

There is so much that is cool about this song but I'll just say this: the girl who says "You nasty boy!" is Stevie's sister Renee Hardaway.

    She should know!

    And of course...

(You're spot on about the expressiveness of the electric keyboard, 4pickupguy).

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy! According to Wikipedia,

The theme of the song is performed by Zawinul on a Wurlitzer electric piano previously used by Ray Charles.[3]

    There's a debate for this ?

    Rhodes :

    Wurlitzer :

No debate for Clavinet and Vox Continental.

    Melotron is subject to discussion.

    But that's a personal opinion eh !

Spooner Oldham knocked this one out of the park when he came up with the intro, and I'm a total fool for the drumming of the late Roger Hawkins

If you've never watched the documentary on Muscle Shoals, do it.
