    +1.... I really enjoy his playing and singin'

    As far as odd ball musicians are concerned, the first guy to come to mind is the guitar slinging "foghorn leghorn" Mr. Jerry Reed. Oddball approach, oddball arrangements, complete wildman, incredible music and some decent acting tossed in the mix.

    Saw him years ago at a Greenpeace concert headlined by The Cure, he was doing somersaults while playing guitar. Never laughed so much at a gig in my life. Great fun performer.

    I was hoping I wouldn't be the only one to mention the Residents. That collective deserves a great deal of respect. Very creative.

    What's the difference between oddball and novelty, I wonder?
