I like Telecaster.
That's a brand, right?
I have 2 Fenders. MIM C50s tele (love) and a MIM C50s strat (not a strat guy) and 3 Gibsons (SG Special, ‘74LP Special, and a dead BR9). My next guitar will be a 50s style LP Standard w/P90s
I like to take chances with used guitars and as such I’ve been exposed to some awesome axes!
Hoyer Eagle Dlx
PRS Se Tremonti-hh
Sterling S.U.B. Bass
My own partscasters (I call their brand “Neptune Fretworks”)
As much as I absolutely adore my Martin, I’ve played so many I really didn’t like...so can’t put them on the list as a favorite brand.
Of the actual bought guitars I have two Fenders and two Gordon Smiths. Everything else is in singles except for about 7 home built guitars.
Ask the same question of amps and it’s homebrew almost all the way - mostly Fender based though.
Im a hopeless fender fanatic
For me it’s Fender.
If you’re looking a fair representation this may not be the best place to ask - we tend to be a little bit biased!
3 Fenders (Tele, Jazzmaster, acoustic 12-string)
1 Squier (P-Bass)
1 PRS (SE245)
1 Shergold (Masquerader SM03-SD)
1 Yamaha (6-string acoustic)
So my favourite is Fender apparently! Most of the things I’m GASing for are also Fenders.
Favorite guitar brand?
1 - GreTscH - That Great GreTscH Sound ! And Look !
2 - All brands, even the fanciest (think Wandrè, Davoli, Welson, Eko... ),
3 - Except Metal-styled ones (ESP, LTD, Kramer and the like ), which are discarded undconditionally and immediately.
But it's me, OK ?
I am shifting toward Gibson.
My own ha ha, ok so it’s Tele style, but done the way I wanted, not a shop bought standard factory issue.
I hate to say it here, but my favorite brand of electric is Gibson. I dislike the company, but love their guitars. I just prefer the scale length, the feel, and the designs.
Gibson LP Std, ES-335
Fender AS Tele, MIM Jazz bass (both with Fralin pickups)
Epiphone Dot (Fralin P-92s)
Even though I love and own other makes it really comes down to two for me, based on say tone, quality, utility, design, looks:
Fender and Martin
I just feel like I can (or could) play anything with a Stratocaster, and my D-1 ( a poor man's D-18)
Have played the same 2 guitars, almost non-stop for 28 and 24 years- there must be a reason!
1 Kramer (Music Yo!)
1 Wilson & Sons
I'm a Fender-holic, but my favorites are my Doc Fishers.
Fender electric guitars
Gibson acoustic guitars
Looking forward to really liking a Martin one day.
So they toss it and leave it, and I pull up quick to retrieve it.
When it comes to the sheer number in my arsenal? Gibson. I started playing with that. But if it comes down to it, which one I have been playing the most in the last few years? Fender. Anyway... As long as it's a Gibson SG or a Fender Telecaster? All good!
