I think mine has to be the basic chips and dip. It has to be real sour cream and California onion soup mix. Also chips have to be wavy to hold up to large scoops. Non of those new fangled hard as rock kettle chips. IMHO

Can't beat straight-up potato chips. I don't care for the flavored ones. The superbowl is about the only game I watch. I use it as an excuse to make wings.

Another wing fan here! I can bake them, broil them (a little crisper), grill them, smoke them but my favorite way is the original old school deep fried greasy fatty goodness. I mean, it's chicken skin and fat deep fried.

Also make my own sauce with Frank's Red Hot, garlic and butter. Boil it to thicken and if I want more heat I have a couple habanero sauces to kick it up a notch. BAM!

I hate snacks .... I mean I love snacks ... all snacks ... I just can't resist them ... and eat way too many.

I'll be so glad when time of year gets over ... as far as snacks go ... just another game or 2 and we are done.

My friend makes this dip that he calls "dip". You take Mexican Velveeta cheese and nuke it for a few minutes until it is soft. Then you stir in one can of Hormel chili, no beans. Nuke again until it is warm. Dip thick tortilla chips into it. It is so good.

    That is queso.

Well, white trash queso ... the kind we make.

We use plain velveeta and alternate between canned chili and ro*tel (tomatoes and green chilies) ... sometimes both.

Yeah, there is fancier queso, but for the $$ and ease that stuff rocks!!!

This year I might have to hang a few racks of ribs in the smoker.

And wash 'em down with some beer.
