Favorite Brian Johnson AC/DC album (and it can't be Back in Black)

OK so Back in Black is objectively the greatest album of all hard rock, ever.
But this one is my fave of the Johnson albums

Woefully underrated, and just awesome, raw and rockin

I'd have to go with Flick of the Switch too. They produced it themselves, right? It's got a nice dry straightforward vibe, convincingly like four guys playing music in a room.

Too many good ones to make a decision.

But I'll add this: AC/DC is the only huge rock band that has a mascot who's also a member of the band.
Angus is also the frontman of his band, Johnson by comparison is a sideman

Yes that's my understanding, it's self-produced.. And yeah, totally agree, -no frills, dry, raw and awesome. Great songs don't hurt!

Pretty much jumped ship after For Those About to Rock.

Theirs are so many other great songs on B in B, it saddens me they are always eclipsed but the hits.

Fly on the Wall. One of the first Ac/dc-albums I had, next to High Voltage. Playing with Girls is my favourite.

A bold, brave statement indeed.
I'm not going to argue. No point in doing so. You're, ( in my opinion ), correct.
Very hard album for them to follow. While they're all good albums, B.I.B sets a very high benchmark.
