I saw the Yardbirds on their final tour and Jimmy Page was ripping on that guitar, not the reissue; coolest thing I’d ever seen! I was only a few feet away and at 16 years old I was in awe - I actually changed the way I was playing as a result, and guess what kind of guitar I bought shortly thereafter.
I was gonna say Brad Paisley by the way. He’s been known to pick a Tele or two.
