Roland Micro Cube.
I would give my brother’s left leg for one of those amps!
My TMDR is perfect even without Pedals. I have got all I need OD, Trem and Rev
My Bassbreaker 007, with the 10” Greenback.
It’s not much for glassy clean tones, but if I’m wanting a sweet tube distortion, this little guy sounds killer
All I need in that regard.
Dr Z Maz 18
Princeton Reverb or a tweed Vibrolux depending on how many rocks...
Mesa Boogie Express 5:25. I use a BOSS-EQ200 equalizer for tone shaping. Lately I have a lot of love for the 5W setting. I have no problem with loudness. +9dB on the intensity slider gives me all I need without pushing the amp over the edge. 5W gives me clarity and brightness without ice pick, especially with my SG and Gretsch Anniversary.
I have the same one!
'64 Princeton for lower-volume sweet breakup or Swart AST Pro for a bit more headroom and punch
An old Super Reverb may be the best amp ever!
This old bomb. My 72 Super Reverb with Carvin branded Eminence speakers. Also sounds amazing with an ep3 and a fuzz face.
5E3 Tweed Deluxe clone. For late night noodling, turned down fairly low, the tonal complexity is unbelievable, although if I want to get it's dirt at that volume, I use a GOOD attenuator. I've installed a totally passive effects loop to allow addition of a rack mount reverb/delay, if desired.
Happy new year John! Please tell us more of this very interesting A-class!!! I recognise KT150 there but also two smaller but still big power tubes. Have you schematic to post?
5E3 circuit amp
Late '60s Vibro Champ for bedroom volume. My Dr. Z Carmen Ghia for a bit louder. Both are fantastic for clean and raunch.
