High octane gasoline. Unless we’re dressing up and going out. Then I use nitromethane.

I go Old Scool...Pinaud Clubman. Recipe from 1810??.

Also like their “Special Reserve”- leather, cigars and whiskey....

4711 cologne water - JFK’s favorite- again 200+ year history.

Aqua Velva- from 1917 “classic American scent”.

also Bay Rum- again, Classic, summery and smells good.

Hey! These worked for Grampa and Great Grampa...it’s how you got here to discuss this!!

If it’s not broke- don’t fix it

Leave that toxic stinky stuff alone. None of it smells good. It all smells like chemicals designed in a lab, made in a factory and then marketed in a way that seems to have brainwashed people into believing it smells good. It don't. None of it.

    You're welcome.

I've been using Brut(al) for a number of years now, but now that I'm rocking a COVID beard I find myself using a lot less of it.

I don't use any (I have a beard and only do the 'periphery'...) but I have a soft spot for the smell of Brut and Old Spice. Reminds me of my childhood.

I love the statement on Old Spice boxes that we only exist at all because our Grandfathers wore it...

I haven't been able to go quite that far, I still have a corporate job that expects me to show up at the office a couple times a week and so I trim every couple days, but still...
Except for a set of chops, I've been clean-shaven my whole life and now I have a boar's-hair beard brush, beard oil to rub in, beard shaping tools... I never thought I'd turn into one of "those" guys, especially due to a pandemic, yet here we are.

That looks a bit musky and assertive...
“Notes of rage and jealously that fade to an aroma of mysogonistic domestic violence...”

(edit- I love both Ricardo “Rich, Corrrrinthian leather..) Montalban and Eric “CHiPs” Estrada, and in no way mean to imply that they embrace the “Macho Hombre” gone bad my post implied may happen by using such a scent)

I don't use aftershave now, a quick spray of Guerlain's Vetiver eau de toilette leaves me smelling lovely all day :)

Back in the day, when aftershave was the only fragrance straight blokes would wear (this is Scotland remember), Tabac.
