The Eminence Beta 10a is my favorite. I admit it wouldn’t work in many amps - probably not a sound great in a tube amp because it doesn’t break up or overly color the sound. In my SS high wattage amp, it’s fantastic. Bold enough to mimic a 12” speaker, but more focused like a 10. Punchy warm flat cleans with sweet highs and exceptional with overdrive/distortion. It’s a beast.

Maybe more players will use them in the future.

PA /pro audio speakers can be great -- besides the heavier construction, the high power rating tend to equalize in the overall picture to compensate for the (typically) lower sensitivity.

In a well matched/designed cabinet the results can be really fantastic. I have two PA type woofers and love them for ' loud and clean'.

This question is like the "What is the best sandwich?" thread; there's a different answer for every person. I like the big-magnet monsters; the EVM12ls and JBL 120s. Comparing these to little magnet low-wattage speakers is like bringing a D8 Bulldozer to a go-cart race.
