I would like to jam with BB King, SRV, Hendrix and Clapton all together. No lesson required, they would make me look horrible regardless, but man it would be fun to drink some beer and play. Especially listening to the stories from all of them..

Dead; Charley Patton.

Living; Jim Campilongo.

/ Tony

Good Gawd - do we think alike or what???

I was just getting ready to type just exactly THAT!

I've been gettin' into a serious Charlie (the actual spelling BTW) Patton phase again. Along with Tommy Johnson, Son House, Willie Brown... I LOVE that stuff, and Charlie was the KING!

I think that Jim Campilongo is like the Jimi Hendrix of our time - or something like that. I just feel like guitar history is being made right before my very ears everytime I hear him play.

I got to do just that with Steve Howe a few years ago... I was in a band with his son for a couple of years. We did some recording with Steve at his farm in Devon and I got to sit and play (and learn!!) with him quite a bit.

John Frusciante would be my number one pick, but Mark Knopfler and David Gilmour would be a close second. Robin Trower, too.

Jimmy Page-my favorite guitarist

Earl "Chinna" Smith-the reggae session man. I'd really like to have a lesson
from one of the genres masters.

Jerry Reed for sure. His stuff got me back into playing guitar. Pete Anderson would be good too.
