Yes in England it is counties, i would imagine their are fair few good ones in the London area dont know where GG comes from many claim him as up with the tops.
I come from Bedfordshire though, not sure their are many here who even are players, i use to know a few from local bands here but all have gone now, i see a good accoustic player in the guitar shop in Luton once, but even the shops have gone now lol, and he may of not have been from around here either but was really good.
Hmmm I grew up in Alaska... This guy was there a few years.

It's almost impossible to compile ONE list including all the Texans......but one guy often overlooked is the incredible guitarist from Ft Worth Bill Ham. (older brother of Warren Ham) He was first notable for The Yellow Payges, then went on to Israfel with brother Warren and keyboard extraodinaire Red Young. Later, he played with Sonny and Cher. He's become very reclusive......I'm not positive he's even still alive.
If you ever heard him play, you'd NEVER forget it.
