great game. I don't how many of you have played that one, or if anyone has played it on here, but if you don't know about that game (which would be unlikely) and like CRPG, you might want to check it out.

I've played it, along with 2, 3, 4 and I think there was a "named" edition or two in there.

I'm actually STILL playing Fallout 4, I am still finding new things and new endings and their effects.

Fallout 4 along with mods is almost a neverending platform.

The first 2 games are considered masterpiece. They were in the best 10 rpgs of all time list on the rpg codex site. I enjoyed FO 3 and new vegas, I have the tried FO 4, but never quite got into it. I will have to replay it.

I loved New Vegas. I found them short though. Esp. 4 which I found particularly underwhelming. Like is was dialed in.

Not tried the very early ones.

I was spoiled with Witcher 3 with the DLC.

I played and loved 1 and 2, maybe the best of all computer games I’ve ever played.

Nowadays I just watch my kids play games.

Just started playing the series, but I picked New Vegas to start. Blasphemy maybe but I figured why not?

Not really blasphemy, since there is not real continuity between all the episodes.
And the more recent FO are more beginner friendly than the first 2 ones. If you like New vegas, i would try FO 3, then have a look at the 1st and 2nd one.

You got me wanting to re-install Fallout 3. It runs fine on my old reliable Dell Optiplex 330 but that's about all it can handle. I turned 60 on Monday and I was an original gamer as a bachelor back in the day and didn't get married until I was 40.
I started putting computers together back when Windows 3.1 was the going thing. It took 5 floppy disks to load and I thought I was styling when I got a 500MB hard drive! When the original Doom came out, I was hooked. I still have all those old DOS games and old towers with Windows XP on them just in case I ever feel nostalgic and want to relive my youth.
Anyways...back to installing Fallout 3. Thanks for the inspiration!

My ten year old loves Minecraft and Fortnite. I’ve played many hours of MC with him. But he also plays guitar. I tell him how amazing he would be on guitar if he spent the time he spends gaming on unlocking the secrets of the guitar...

I read up on the series first, and yeah that was the consensus and why I went with NV. I don't play games that often but when I do I tend to get absorbed. So far on NV I'm still in the first town, so maybe not as engaged as I was with say Half Life or Bio Shock, both which sucked me in immediately.

4 was fun, but not as fun as 3. I found the crafting mechanics to be irritating, and I’m sure that really impacted my enjoyment of the game. Skyrim’s crafting system is just way more intuitive for me.

Why won’t Bethesda remaster Fallout 3 and Oblivion for PS4/5? Give the people what they want!

I've played Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4. New Vegas is my favorite, with 3 a close second. I own 1 and 2, but for whatever reason I have never gotten very far in the games.

I also play Skyrim quite a bit, probably more than any other game.

Loved 3. I platinum’d it on PS3 after sinking about 200 hours into it. The only reason I never finished the DLC is my save game got so big it glitched out.

I got so far into Fallout 4, but it wasn’t as fresh and the story didn’t hold me. Played it for quite a long time though!
