Always interesting when one thing leads to so many other things. Has every sentiment been part of a song?

Tonight it started with seeing a fellow member's post on Squier Talk about rediscovering his Cabronita.

I commented with a line from two old Pure Prairie League songs.

On one front that line seemed to fit so well with rediscovering an old six string friend.

And on another front it brought back such sweet memories of one of my favorite college day medleys from back in the '70's, immediately followed with tears for my dog/best friend I lost last year. Although the spelling is different, I was listening to both PPL songs I'm referencing when I was on the way home in the car
from the Humane Society and determined her name would be Amy.

So I immediately searched for this. BTW...I'd forgotten about the early days Vince Gill look!

I had no idea. I guess the double surprise is that there were two other guys doing all the picking.
