    begins 3:35, the great great gerald johnson... I was at this concert and it stuck as A) great band B) cool bass solo... I'd note that Gerald also had the whistle ha ha...

    I love bands that do bass and even drum solos like this.....it gives me a chance to run to the bathroom and not miss any music. ;) (although, yes, I did like the Pink Panther!)

    Can't post clip,

    But give me Berry Oakley's bass solo ( played along with the drummers) on ABB's " Mountain Jam" from Live at Ludlow Garage

    6+ minutes of huge, growly, angry funk!
    ( if anyone besides me knows of this, just a huge fan of this concert recording)

    The band is young, raw ( for sure), but locked in!
