    Hi,
I'm looking for a 2x12 extension cabinet for my HW Vox which has an alnico blue. I've seen a cab for sale locally that has 2 G12m65 creambacks. They ate 97dB sensitivity and the blue is 100dB. Is this too big a mismatch? Would 2 quiet speakers compete with 1 loud one ok? Or would it be a waste of time?

    Thanks

    Max

If it's the right impedance, you're good.
The Blue will probably be a little more prominent in the upper mids/highs and the two G12m-65 will fill out the lower mids/bass.

Even my DIY 2x10 with salvaged, cheap Celestions 10's gave my AC15c1 a big bottom end. Two 95 dB speakers ->98dB, roughly the same as the Greenback.
