I own a greta, pro junior (stock jenson?), and a PRRI (celestian g10 greenback)

Greta through the pj's 10" gets the most use by far.

    All 10" speakers and 8ohms.

I'd like to purchase a 1x12 or 2x12 extension cabinet wired at 8 ohms (mostly for a dedicated greta cab).

I'd like to be able to use the cab with my other amps too.

I have no experience with selecting speakers.

What speaker would you recommend for a greta/pro junior/prri extension cabinet?

2 watt amp and two 15 watt amps, any sort of ballpark wattage or power handling I should consider?

    Any advice is appreciated

I have been using a 1X12 with an Eminence Reignmaker, and it sounds great with the Greta.

The variable efficiency is quite handy as well.

You want to be able to turn up the Greta at least somewhat? Greenback.

You want to bust some eardrums and damage your hearing? Vintage 30.

I use the greta from whisper quiet to wide open.

I haven't been able to crank my Greta all the way with a 10" cab, only with an 8" cab. Too loud with the 10", but it's not a Greenback.

It does have earlier breakup but it's still loud with big cabs. I do like it with an attenuator.

Greta stipulates 8 ohm min so depends what you want. I'd pick a speaker that suits your other amps. The Greta is a bit Tweedy in character.

Rather than a 1 or 2x12", give some serious consideration to tracking down a 2x10" cab. There's something so right about the sound small-ish amps make through a 2x10".
As for speakers, I'm a Jensen fanboi, so I'd go with a pair of MOD 10-50 or Jet Falcon 10". They're not spectacularly efficient, and they sound wonderful ( to me )

I have a Fender 1x12 cab that I loaded an 8 ohm EVM12L into. That cab/speaker sounds great thru any amp I've ever played thru....from whisper-quiet to house-shaking-loud. For me, it's the Swiss Army Knife of speaker/cabs.

I don't quite understand speaker stats...

I don't know what would be overpowered/underpowered (I understand that 15 watts and under isnt wildly powerful).

I made a DIY cab for 10" Ragin' Cajun, also found an older amp that died, and changed it to a 12" cab. Greenback 12H goes great for me next to RC (for Pro Jr IV, Micro Terror, Vox MV50 AC..., Super Champ X2H).

Or you can check harley&benton cabinets (thomann)
