Expert luthier in upstate NY? (transparent stain finish repair)

I just bought a used American Deluxe Tele in transparent Teal Green. Got a great deal on it but it has a small but noticeable chip in the top that I'll want to get repaired. This will require matching the teal stain and filling in the divot, leveling it off, polishing it out, etc.

I'm asking around to see if anyone knows of a real expert at this kind of thing in the upstate NY/New England area.

Any suggestions?

Repairs and Restorations

We have over 40 years of experience and training in the repair, service and restoration of all types of string instruments.

Dan was the guitar tech at Gerber Music in Shopping-town Mall in Dewitt. There he became an Authorized Warranty Service Center for over 15 major manufactures such as; Gibson/Epiphone, Fender, Ibanez, Guild, Martin, Ovation, etc. In addition, he was responsible for the maintenance and setup for all the instruments for all three Gerber Music locations in CNY.

Dan Dishaw was invited to several manufacturing facilities for Service Seminars where he was taught the correct procedures to accomplish quality repairs and service on instruments such as Gibson Super400, Les Paul's, Fender Stratocasters, and Telecasters, Gibson/Epiphone acoustics, etc.

I used to use a guy named Woody from NYC...Larry Dimarzio sent me to him, he was great..He moved upstate...Not sure where but if you call Sadowsky guitars Roger might know where he is...It's worth a call...
