Any TDPRIers have any experience with the double cutaway archtop (335) style kit from PGK?

It appears to be a carved top, Thinline style construction instead of laminate. I assume it would be quite heavy.

I'd like to build a 335 with a few tweaks and after browsing Freeman Keller's build thread I'd rather start with a mostly finished body than try and source laminate tops and sides. PGK gets good reviews on their LP style kits and I'd love to chat with someone who got their hands on an archtop kit.

I'll be curious as to what you find out. Several folks at the Home Depot have built Precison Kits, I don't remember who or what. One big advantage I see is that unlike other kits they don't include a bunch of budget grade hardware and electronics that you will probably just replace anyway.

Semi hollows are about the hardest guitar for a home builder and this looks like a good way to make it a possibility.
